Neosho Community College multi event specialist and former Coke Games blue ribbon winner, Waisale Inoke has been selected to represent Fiji at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships.
Coming off an impressive indoor season, Inoke will be making his 2nd major international outing in the 60m event at the 20th installment of the championships. This comes after an impressive indoor season where he broke the Men’s Heptathlon National Indoor Record twice and clocked an impressive 6.88s in the 60m, a mere 0.01s shy of the Men’s 60m National Indoor Record.
Inoke will be traveling with the Oceania team and 13 other Pacific Island athletes who have also been selected by their federations. The 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships is set to take place from the 21st to the 23rd of this month in Nanjing China.
