The aim of the workshop was to make clear to Paralympic athletes, coaches and officials the opportunities and support available to them. This message was re-iterated by FPC’s newly elected FPC board member and former Fiji TV news anchor, Sakiusa Bolaira when he stated that

There are endless opportunities for all of us

The goal set out by the FPC is to make Fiji proud by increasing Fiji’s medal prospects at the 2020 Paralympics and beyond and that this workshop served as a reminder of that goal by bringing to light the support and opportunities available not only through the various sporting bodies but organizations, government and the Pacific Sports Partnership Program.

Present at the workshop was newly appointed Oceania Athletics Association’s Project Manager, Carlee Beattie.
